My medical career was borne out of an interest in the natural sciences at an early age. I began cultivating a serious interest in science and medicine while looking at slides of liver tissue as a high school student. I obtained a BS in biology and a medical degree, both from Creighton University. I completed an internship at UCLA. My residency in radiology at the University of Florida was followed by a fellowship in body imaging at the University of Colorado. I have practiced radiology for 25 years.
